v1.6

New

The home dashboard

Signing in now lands on a working cockpit instead of a bare site list.

  • New

Coverage trend, recent transitions, open alerts, IndexNow and search performance widgets, scored per site.

  • New

An onboarding checklist that mirrors the real state of each property, from first sync to alert emails.

  • Improved

Sites list, usage and onboarding load in a fixed number of queries regardless of how many sites you connect.

v1.7

AI insights that read your coverage

A suggestion engine that turns your coverage numbers into next actions — with a hard budget.

  • New

AI insights on the dashboard: concrete, evidence-backed suggestions generated from your own coverage data.

  • New

A dedicated, budgeted generation pipeline — daily generation limits and a monthly USD cap per plan, settled exactly once.

  • Improved

Deterministic todo rules keep working when the AI budget is spent; insights are a layer on top, never a dependency.

v1.4

A public API and an MCP server

Coverage data and submissions are no longer locked behind the dashboard: script your indexing workflow or let your AI agent pull site status directly.

  • New

REST API v1 with sites, coverage, URL status, submissions, and usage endpoints.

  • New

MCP server so Claude and other MCP clients can list sites and alerts with a scoped key.

  • Improved

API keys show per-minute rate limits and daily usage in the dashboard.

v1.3

IndexNow push with real guarantees

Pushing URLs to Bing, Yandex, and Seznam is now a first-class pipeline with dedupe, quotas, and a full audit trail.

  • New

Host key verification and per-host push quotas in the dashboard.

  • New

Content-version dedupe: a URL is pushed once per change, never spammed.

  • Improved

Push outcomes (received, pending, rate-limited, failed) are visible per URL.

v1.2

Alerts before traffic disappears

Index coverage is now watched continuously — when indexed pages drop out or fresh pages stay unindexed, you get an email.

  • New

Alert rules for index loss, 404 spikes, and new pages not being indexed.

  • Improved

Alert emails name the site, the affected URLs, and what changed.

  • Fixed

Alert cooldown no longer swallows repeated incidents on the same day.

v1.1

Coverage you can drill into

The dashboard gained a per-site coverage ring, a 30-day trend, and a URL inventory that filters down to the exact page you care about.

  • New

Coverage ring and daily trend chart for every connected site.

  • New

URL inventory with filter tabs, pagination, and per-URL inspection history.

  • Improved

Sitemap sync picks up new and changed URLs automatically.

v1.0

indexsubmit, from first login

The first public release: connect Google Search Console, pick a site, and watch your index coverage daily.

  • New

Search Console OAuth with encrypted token storage and property sync.

  • New

Daily URL Inspection checks with transparent quotas.

  • New

Plans with self-serve checkout and instant upgrades.

Engine & protocol notes

What the search engines and protocols are doing, and how indexsubmit adapts.

  • Sep 30, 2026

The URL Inspection API quota resets at midnight America/Los_Angeles — including the 23- and 25-hour DST days. All indexsubmit daily counters are keyed to Pacific quota days for this reason.

  • Oct 2, 2026

IndexNow accepts up to 10,000 URLs per request, but batching that large is how key errors get lost. We split submissions into smaller jobs and deduplicate by content version before anything is sent.

  • Oct 6, 2026

Bing, Yandex and Seznam all read the same key file at your site root — one verified IndexNow key covers every participating engine, and indexsubmit verifies it once per host.
